Age Rating

 

In Portugal, the age rating given to a show is binding, meaning that it must be respected by promoters, venues, and spectators. However, in practice, there are some nuances.

If a show is rated for over 6s, children under 6 are allowed in, if accompanied by an adult.

This interpretation follows the legislation of the General Inspection of Cultural Activities (IGAC), which is responsible for the age classification of public shows in Portugal.
