Dress the Ocean

This workshop proposes that we create figures that populate the sea, whether they're sailors, fishermen, surfers, divers, or even mermaids or sea gods.

Let's get creative, get to work and here we go!

This is a short workshop that can be done on its own or in addition to a visit to the puppet exhibition.

As for the duration of the workshop, it lasts as long as the group is available, or it can be extended according to the level of dedication of each of its little creators.

what the festival has to say

Get your hands on the puppet.

That's how you grow your imagination. The opportunity for training is fundamental. We propose creative work that combines theatrical play with the visual arts. Either on your own or with a mentor, this workshop will be present throughout the Festival, allowing you to make a puppet or a family of puppets. The puppets will be on display to create a symbolic community, a family, which, through imagination, is linked to the sea, its daily life, its imagination and its explorers.

that's how

A community, hundreds of figures, brought the “Dressing the Sea” territory to life. Children, families, adults and seniors populated the object built by Lola Tajtelbaum Grinsztajn, which was prepared to receive figures made of material from the imagination. It was amazing to see the result. The work of many for a piece that symbolizes the union of the collective around the art of puppetry.
