Ulterior… the Voyage

An adventure through time, a spectacular family show, colourful and very close to the audience.

This journey begins in the very distant future where Professor Copernicus, a mad scientist who invented the time machine, the clumsy petty officer Segundo and the fascinating bird woman Ainé discover a family of three members of a fascinating animal species up to five meters tall; curious, captivating and playful beings.

The six characters surprise the audience with their adventures: Segundo rides a giant tin ball, Ainé captivates with her aerial acrobatics and the dragosaurs amaze with their skills and even allow themselves to be ridden.

The company began its journey in 2004 with the artistic union of Jacinto Cienfuegos and Oscar Ortiz, both trained in different circus, theatre, and magic schools; in 2007, Marta Luna, also trained in circus schools and specialized in aerial disciplines, joined the company.

Tiritirantes offers a wide range of shows, for all audiences, for children and adults; travelling and static, circus, fantasy, thematic, acrobatic, sign theatre, text in Spanish or Basque, comedy, for auditoriums and for the street.

Over the years, we have created several shows in different formats, both static and itinerant, always with circus as the main theme.

In this way, in our static shows, we merge different and risky circus techniques with gestural theatre, clown and magic, and in our travelling shows we take fantastic vehicles with spectacular costumes without forgetting the circus and the participation of the audience. Our latest project was to take circus to theatres, creating our first indoor show.
