The Fate of Ulysses
“Fado de Ulisses” is a theatrical production that tells the story of Homer’s *The Odyssey*, using fado and puppetry as its artistic elements.
On a journey through the turbulent seas of Greek mythology, we are transported to the world of Ulysses, a human hero full of doubts and contradictions, seeking to return home to the love of Penelope. From encounters with sea monsters to seductive sirens, Ulysses’ adventures reveal values such as resilience, courage, and love.
With an accessible approach, the show aims to convey this universal story in an engaging and poetic way. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey, where fado and puppets come together to sing and tell The Odyssey.
